These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Chatham online casino and betting service. By registering an account or using any part of the service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Use in full. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.
Chatham reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the service following notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
1. Eligibility and Account Requirements
1.1 Age Requirement
You must be of legal gambling age in your province or territory of residence to register and use the service. In Ontario, the minimum age is 19. In other provinces and territories, the applicable minimum age is determined by local law. Underage gambling is prohibited. Chatham may request proof of age at any time and may suspend or close accounts where age cannot be verified.
1.2 Geographic Eligibility
The service is available only to individuals physically located in a jurisdiction where online casino and betting activity is lawful at the time of use. It is your responsibility to confirm that accessing the service is permitted under the laws of your province or territory. Chatham does not accept registrations from jurisdictions where the service is not authorized.
1.3 One Account Per Person
Each individual may hold only one registered account. Duplicate accounts are prohibited. Chatham may close any additional accounts identified as belonging to the same individual and may void any activity conducted through those accounts.
1.4 Account Accuracy
You are required to provide accurate, current, and complete information at registration and to update that information promptly if it changes. Providing false or misleading information constitutes grounds for account suspension or permanent closure.
2. Identity Verification
Chatham is required to verify the identity of account holders before processing withdrawals and in other circumstances as determined by applicable regulatory requirements. Verification may include, but is not limited to, submission of government-issued photo identification, proof of address, and proof of payment method ownership.
Failure to complete verification within the timeframe requested will result in suspension of withdrawal access. Chatham may also request re-verification at any point during the account lifecycle.
3. Account Security
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must not share your username, password, or any security codes with any other person. Any activity conducted through your account while your credentials are in use is your responsibility, unless Chatham has been notified of unauthorized access without undue delay.
If you suspect that your account has been accessed without your authorization, you must contact Chatham support immediately and follow the account security procedure provided.
4. Prohibited Conduct
The following conduct is prohibited and may result in account suspension, permanent closure, and forfeiture of funds:
- Using the service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempting to access the service from a restricted jurisdiction
- Creating or using more than one account
- Providing false identity information or verification documents
- Exploiting technical errors or system vulnerabilities
- Engaging in collusion, fraud, or any form of manipulation
- Using automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the service
- Attempting to circumvent responsible gambling controls
Chatham reserves the right to investigate suspected prohibited conduct and to take appropriate action, including reporting to relevant authorities where required by law.
5. Account Suspension and Closure
5.1 Closure by User
You may request closure of your account at any time by contacting Chatham support. Before closure is processed, any pending verification requirements must be satisfied and any outstanding balance will be settled in accordance with applicable withdrawal procedures.
5.2 Closure by Chatham
Chatham may suspend or permanently close your account if you breach these Terms of Use, if required by a regulatory authority, if fraudulent or prohibited activity is detected, or if continued operation of the account presents a legal or compliance risk. In cases of confirmed fraud or prohibited conduct, Chatham may withhold funds pending investigation.
6. Responsible Gambling
Chatham provides responsible gambling tools including deposit limits, session limits, self-exclusion, and cooling-off periods. These tools are available through account settings or by contacting support. Self-exclusion requests are processed without undue delay and, once active, cannot be reversed during the exclusion period.
If you are experiencing difficulty controlling your gambling activity, you are encouraged to use the available controls and to seek assistance from independent support organizations. Chatham does not permit reactivation of a self-excluded account before the exclusion period has expired.
7. Privacy and Data Processing
Chatham collects and processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms of Use. By registering an account, you consent to the collection, use, and retention of your personal data as described in that document. Data is processed for purposes including account management, identity verification, regulatory compliance, fraud prevention, and responsible gambling obligations.
8. Complaints Procedure
If you have a complaint regarding your account or the service, you should first contact Chatham support directly and allow a reasonable period for the matter to be reviewed. Chatham will acknowledge your complaint and provide a written response within the timeframe set out in its complaints handling procedure.
If you are not satisfied with the outcome of the internal complaints process, you may escalate the matter to the relevant provincial regulatory authority. In Ontario, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) provides guidance on complaint escalation for regulated operators. Regulatory bodies generally require completion of the internal complaints process before escalation. Resolution may take up to 90 days.
9. Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the applicable Canadian province in which Chatham holds its authorization to operate. Any dispute arising from these terms or from your use of the service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that province, unless an alternative dispute resolution mechanism is specified in the complaints procedure.
10. Amendments
Chatham may update these Terms of Use at any time. Where changes are material, notice will be provided through the service or by email to your registered address. The date at the top of this document reflects the most recent revision. It is your responsibility to review the current version of these Terms of Use periodically.
